A year with my daughter :)

What was I doing at this time last year? Well I was waiting outside the labor room at SMF hospital. My wife was inside the labor room. My parents were with me. Exactly at 2:29 a.m 29th Dec 2008, my beautiful daughter Tanya was born. This is how she looked the day she was born. "Well I broke the custom, where we are not allowed the take photos of the new born baby".


Today, when I look back, I am amazed to see that one year has passed like a bullet. So fast and swift, that you never know it has passed. Tanya has been my strength, my source of inspiration, she is the reason behind my happiness in this world and the motivation behind my hard work.

In this one year I have grown along with Tanya. Learnt a lot, become responsible. When I started writing this post, there was just one thing in my mind and heart Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya Tanya , I am not able to get words to form sentences, as I can see they are moving from my brain and entering my heart to stay with Tanya.

Why am I becoming so emotional, well I don't know, probably as I am a dad and emotions are just part of the territory. Today we are preparing to celebrate Tanya's first birthday tomorrow, well its actually today, its already past 12 a.m :). We are also going to make Tanya cut a cake and make a small celebration at exactly 2:29 a.m , exactly one year before when Tanya was born. In this one year I have taken nearly 500 photos of Tanya and several videos.

After almost a year, this is how Tanya looks now. :)












I will of course post photos of the birthday party and also post the details of the party tomorrow or when I again get time. :) .

Bulk Upload users into LDAP Directory

In this post I am not going to talk about setting up your LDAP using OpenLDAP. There are lots of websites explaining that. However when I tried to upload users in bulk into the directory I was not able to do the same. The reason there was not even a single article which could give me some information on the same. Dominos Pizza

Today there was no power supply at my home due to which my wife was not able to cook. She cooks using electronic appliances. Hence we decided to order Pizza. We since mid 2010 regularly order Pizza at Dominos  and did the same this afternoon too. Today the pizza was delivered very hot and tasted the better than our previous orders. In short I can say that today I had the best dominos pizza. I was extremely excited and decided to blog about the same in my free time. After finishing the Pizzas I fed my dog took her out for a walk. I then got a call from the Dominos customer support team asking about my experience and any suggestions I had. Man! I was surprised and felt like a king. This does not happen to Indian customers every day. There is a company out there which really cares about its customers. I don't know if they called me out of the blue or if this is a new practice but any way it felt good. I am currently reading Jeff Jarvis' book "What Would Google Do?" ...
